Inom två år efter disputation kan man ansöka om en Internationell postdok (utlysning två gånger per år).

Stipendiet är värd SKr240,000 per år och kan förlängas med ytterligare ett år (till totalt två år). Den osäkra situationen för postdoktorala stipendier (”postdoc”-stipendier) är nu löst. En överenskommelse mellan Vetenskapsrådet och Stiftelsen för internationalisering av högre utbildning och forskning (STINT) ger fortsatt möjlighet att söka sig utomlands för yngre forskare inom samtliga vetenskapsområden.
